Blizzard has officially revealed the release date for Patch 12.1, Curse of Ula'tek, arriving on August 11th in North America and August 12th in Europe. This major update for the Midnight expansion brings a massive wave of fresh content, highlighted by The Venomous Abyss raid, the Altar of Fangs dungeon, instanced World Boss Lairs, and three brand-new Delves, all centered around The Coiled Isle zone.
The Coiled Isle acts as the primary hub for Patch 12.1 content. Players can dive into the new campaign, uncover story updates, join public events like Vaults of Atal'Utek, and unlock the Altar of Corrosion talent tree. The island also houses entrances to the patch's premier endgame activities.
The Venomous Abyss is an eight-boss raid featuring encounters like Nek’zali the Soulcoiler, Vashnik the Malignant, and the final boss Ula’Tek. The raid opens on August 18th in North America and August 19th in Europe, with all four difficulties launching at once. Meanwhile, the Altar of Fangs dungeon features Rav'i, The Writhing Coil, and Zul'Jan, kicking off the Season 2 Mythic+ rotation alongside the new Lair world boss encounters and Delves such as the Nemesis Delve, Venomfall Deeps.
