Curse of Ula’tek introduces a series of user interface updates designed to help you better track your cooldowns, consumables, and key combat information when it matters most. Players can now stay in control with the new Cooldown Manager updates.
The Cooldown Manager is now able to track trinkets and potions, effectively helping with consumable management during intense encounters. In addition to consumables, the tool can track racial ability cooldowns and durations, ensuring you never miss a crucial timing window.
For managing other resources and coordinating with your team, more updates arrive to the ping system. Players can ping their action bar or the Cooldown Manager directly, providing your team with the immediate status of your spells. Your own unit frames can also get pinged to convey the status of your health to the group. Furthermore, players who are acting in a healing role will also share the status of their mana, saving them from needing to type or say, “OOM” before the next pull.
Healers also benefit from new configurations to keep the heals flowing smoothly. Healers can now configure or hide the buffs shown on Raid Frames, allowing the healing effects that matter most to you to stay visible without unnecessary visual clutter. Blizzard notes they will see you in-game as you put these updates to use with your party and raid team.
